MCGLINCHY EYES ANOTHER ROAR ROASTING

The last time the Central Coast Mariners visited Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane Roar had just parted ways with Frank Farina, and Ange Postecoglou was yet to take the reins, the Yellow and Navy duly left the Queensland Capital with a comfortable 3-nil victory.

This Wednesday, The Mariners venture north to meet a side sitting in second spot on the Hyundai A-League ladder, and seemingly flying under new mentor Postecoglou.

ROSE EYES HAPPY HOMECOMING

Central Coast Mariners left full-back Joshua Rose is excited about the prospect of returning to Brisbane as a Footballer for the first time in five years this Wednesday night, as the Mariners tackle Brisbane Roar at Suncorp Stadium.

Rose spent three seasons at Brisbane Strikers after arriving in the Queensland capital from Rockhampton, and trialled with the Queensland Roar – as Brisbane were then named – before signing with New Zealand Knights in the inaugural Hyundai A-League season.
